Choose Community

eQuality is a community based program.  eQuality does not operate out of a facility and so all eQuality Associates work in the community every day.  Associates go straight to their jobsite, independent job or volunteer opportunity.  eQuality Associates typically work right alongside workers without disabilities.

Community integration and exploration are an important part of the Associate experience at eQuality.  Associates who participate in their community gain confidence to initiate and plan future activities with friends and family.  They have the opportunity to meet and interact with other adults without disabilities and form friendships outside of their peer group.  Every job, program and extracurricular activity takes place in a community setting.  eQuality job sites that have an afternoon programming option typically spend at least one of their programming days each week exploring the community through field trips and classes.  eQuality has community partnerships with the Three Rivers Park District, Yellow Tree Theater and Channel 12 and has community based programs such as Job Club, Self-Advocacy Group and the Mentor Program.
